Creating Good Feelings – Feeling Better Quickly and Acceptance through Allowing…

Not so good feelings – We all have things in our lives that we go through and sometimes we don’t like them very much at all.

The fact remains that what “is” simply “is”.

Resisting those things in our lives that we have no control over creates allot of unnecessary suffering.

There’s an old cliche that says “What you resist persists” so feeling better quickly is something we feel everyone deserves to learn how to do.

You see although it feels that sometimes that you can’t choose how you wish to feel, the reality is feelings are actually the results of thoughts.

Very specific thoughts…

Thoughts having to do with pictures or movies in your mind.

Thoughts having to do with the things you say to yourself when you are upset or getting upset.

These are the true sources of those seemingly “inescapable” feelings.

When you saw the cute little kitty above and read the caption you probably felt instantly better or at least cracked a smile.

The pictures and “captions” you create in your own mind are no different.

They determine whether you feel “good” or “bad” about what is happening in your life.

    Couldn’t agree more Jackey. The moment you learn this valuable lesson of letting go you actually set your self free in a way that no one can hold you back. Especially yourself! Live life to the fullest, enjoy your new found creativity and don’t be afraid to try. Especially if you feel like your at rock bottom. For then the only way is up!

      Yes Jason I agree. I have come to notice that as much as I would like to believe I’ve “learned the lesson” of letting go, there’s always something else to let go of. The big stuff is obvious and easy, but it’s absolutely mind boggling how much us humans are attached to. Lol that was one of the biggest awarenesses I gain when I had a near death experience all those years ago – just how attached I am when in the physical! And I couldn’t agree more, only one way to go once you’ve reached bottom!!

    I have just been focusing on this recently…it applies to everything! It is much more difficult to solve a problem if we can’t even accept that it exists in the first place! What’s more, if we don’t accept the ENTIRE reality of what IS then those things we’re pretending don’t exist come right back and kick us in the butt over and over until we finally accept them…..an A-HA moment I had this week which I am now applying to new difficult situations. Thanks Jackey for reinforcing this! – Emilie

    Thanks! Perfect timing. By accepting i put myself in a position where i could actually formulate solutions or actions to take. I also managed to still enjoy the present and not dwell in the past. Acceptance allowed me to let go and shift my energy. I am now able to bring other good things finto my life.
